Come enjoy a movie night with your family! We will be showing The Garfield Movie (2024). The movie is rated PG. All ages are welcome, but children ages 12 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Attendees will be entered into a drawing to win awesome prizes. Refreshments will be provided.

This program is designed for toddlers and preschoolers, but babies are welcome as well. Little ones often learn best through exploration, and sensory plays allows for little explorers to touch lots of different textures in a safe way. We will use food-based products, such as noodles and oatmeal, just in case our smallest friends sneak a bite! Registration is not required.

Join us for a day full of activities! All day activities will include a history walk of the library, crafts and story time for the little ones, database demonstrations, library card sign-ups and renewals, treats, giveaways, shopping and raffles. Evening activities include a walk through our Holiday Tree Village, hot chocolate and desert bar, music and surprise guests! Come into the library for a scavenger hunt! Collect a prize from our treasure chest when you have found all the images and unscrambled the word or phrase. This program is geared for teens and elementary aged children. Younger children are encouraged to participate as well, but they will only be required to find pictures. Children ages 12 years and younger must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Kid Chemist will bring the excitement of science to the library with experiments that will spark curiosity and fun. Children will get hands-on experience as they create the famous elephant toothpaste experiment— a foamy, bubbly reaction that will leave everyone amazed! For ages 8-18, but children ages 12 years and younger must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
